DB from Georgia commits to South Carolina for 2026 recruiting class
In the aftermath of South Carolina football’s biggest victory in two seasons, it seems recruits want to be a part of what Shane Beamer is building in Columbia.
On Monday night, three-star athlete Peyton Dyer announced a commitment to the Gamecocks.
Dyer, a native of Duluth Georgia, plays both wide receiver and cornerback at Duluth High but was being recruited by South Carolina as a defensive back.
Dyer is the sixth Gamecock commit in the Class of 2026 and the second-straight defensive back pledge, joining four-star J’zavien Currence out of South Pointe High in Rock Hill.
