Danilo linked with Manchester United move as Juventus contract runs down
Juventus captain Danilo has been linked with a January move to Manchester United to become one of new coach Ruben Amorim’s first signings at Old Trafford, as the Brazil international’s contract with the Bianconeri approaches its expiry.
The 33-year-old defender is into the final year of his contract with Juventus, expiring at the end of June, 2025.

According to outlets in Italy, the Bianconeri could sanction his sale in January in order to raise some funds from his departure, which could in turn help the club with some of their own targets during the next window.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, as well as other outlets in the UK have suggested that Danilo is the sort of experienced defender that Amorim would like among his squad and that a move to Old Trafford in January is one of several options that the Brazilian has on the table.
The fact that he can play in most positions in a back four and back three is seen as a positive, as well as the fact that he already has Premier League experience from his time with Manchester City.
Though still captain of Juventus, Danilo has only started three times in Serie A from a possible 12 matches so far this term, and has fallen behind Next Gen graduates Andrea Cambiaso and Nicolo Savona in the right-back pecking order under Thiago Motta.
