Danilo: Juventus contract termination awaiting official announcement
Reports on Monday morning claim that Danilo has terminated his Juventus contract by mutual consent ahead of his January move away from the club, and now all that is missing is an official announcement from the club.
According to reports from several outlets and journalists, including Ilbianconero, Danilo has terminated his contract with Juventus, which ends a five-and-a-half year stay in Turin.
Danilo all set for Juventus exit
The 33-year-old defender is expected to head back to Brazil and sign for Flamengo once his contract termination is officially announced.
He had been linked with a move to join Antonio Conte’s table-topping Napoli, but prefers a move back to his home country for personal reasons, according to recent reports.
Danilo’s exit paves the way for Juventus to sign Renato Veiga from Chelsea, who began his medical with the Bianconeri on Monday morning. He is set to become the club’s third signing of the January transfer window, following the recent arrivals of Randal Kolo Muani from PSG and Alberto Costa from Vitoria Guimaraes.
