Dalton Kincaid injury update: Bills TE injures knee vs Colts
The Buffalo Bills entered Week 10 already without their top two receivers, Amari Cooper and Keon Coleman, due to wrist injuries.
During the game, they dealt with another injury to one of their top remaining receiving threats, tight end Dalton Kincaid. His absence is another blow to Buffalo's banged-up offense.
Here's what to know about Kincaid's injury.
Dalton Kincaid injury update
Kincaid exited the Bills vs. Colts game twice due to injury. He left in the first half after suffering a knee injury but returned in the third quarter. He then returned to the game in the third quarter but played just two snaps before exiting the game again.
Kincaid's final snap came when he was targeted with 9:45 left in the third quarter. The Bills announced he was doubtful to return and he did not return to the lineup.
Kincaid told reporters in the locker room after the game that he didn't yet know the extent of his injury. He acknowledged he was wearing a brace and explained why he ultimately left the game for good after the third quarter.
"Thought I could go then just didn’t feel good enough to run and be able to go out there and protect myself," Kincaid said when asked about his return to action.

Kincaid's injury appeared to occur after quarterback Josh Allen slightly overthrew the second-year tight end in the red zone for what would have been a big gain and potentially a touchdown. He tried to make the catch but came down hard after failing to do so.

After leaving the field, Kincaid was checked out in the blue medical tent and exited it wearing a brace.
The Bills didn't immediately provide an update about Kincaid's status but later announced that he was "questionable" to return because of the injury.
Who is Dalton Kincaid's backup on Bills depth chart?
Dawson Knox is the top backup behind Kincaid on the Bills' depth chart. Knox is a six-year veteran who was a third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and has made 65 starts in 78 career games, all with Buffalo.
Knox has logged just eight catches for 102 yards and one score in 2024 while ceding playing time to Kincaid. Still, the soon-to-be 28-year-old has the experience and combination of blocking and receiving skills needed to replace the second-year tight end short-term.
The only other tight end on Buffalo's 53-man roster is Quintin Morris, who has been with the Bills for four years since signing as an undrafted free agent out of Bowling Green in 2021.
Dalton Kincaid stats
Kincaid caught two passes for 24 yards on five targets before exiting Sunday's game against the Colts. He entered Week 10 with 32 catches, 332 yards, and two touchdowns in nine games but was expected to be a big part of the team's passing game with Cooper and Coleman out of action.
