The upcoming matchup between the two programs could be one of the last meetings between the two long-term rivals for the foreseeable future as they are set to pause the Battle for the Iron Skillet after the 2025 season.
Saturday’s game between TCU and SMU will be the 103rd matchup between the teams and the Horned Frogs leads the all-time rivalry, which began in 1915, 53-42-7 over SMU.
The Horned Frogs will face off against SMU at 4 p.m. on Saturday at Gerald J. Ford Stadium
