Dallas Cowboys set initial 53-man roster for the 2024 NFL season
The Dallas Cowboys set their initial 53-man roster on Tuesday, a timeline mandated by the NFL rules.
Tuesday’s roster doesn’t guarantee that those players will be on the field when the Cowboys open the season on Sept. 8 at Cleveland. Owner Jerry Jones, coach Mike McCarthy and the Cowboys front office will likely tweak the roster in the next 10 days, transferring players to the taxi squad, make waiver claims and other moves.
