Daily Sports Smile: Kevin Hart hilariously narrates his high school hoops highlights

While there might be a lack of height, there is no shortage of laughs about Kevin Hart's basketball career. The comedian played hoops at Philadelphia's George Washington High School and, on Wednesday, Sports Center dug up their feature where he narrates his own highlights from a game in 1996.

"This is probably going to be great," Hart said in the clip, originally from 2019, before giving colorful commentary on his turnovers, blocks and even a three-point shot.

"Y'all should have started with that," he said of the bucket, which comes about halfway through the film session.

Besides a hilarious moment where he punches the gymnasium wall after an especially athletic block, Hart counts eight turnovers that he committed. But he said he had a reason for his poor performance.

"I was an asthmatic," he revealed, maybe jokingly, maybe not. "Nobody knows this about me, I had trouble breathing back then. That's what those turnovers were about, so my wind wasn't right."

At 5 foot, 2 inches — a full inch shorter than legendary Charlotte Hornets point guard Muggsy Bogues — Hart was never destined for the NBA. But he didn't give up on his hoops dream as he was the MVP of the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game a record four times.

While he's known for his movies such as 2012's "Think Like a Man" and 2014's "Ride Along" and several more, Hart has also famously dabbled in television. His talk show "Cold as Balls" aired its sixth season this year. On the program, Hart interviews athletes while they are both in an ice tub and the conversation is as funny as you'd expect it to be. Past guests have included Tyreek Hill, Russell Wilson, Gabby Douglas, Tony Hawk, Lindsey Vonn and Reggie Bush.
