Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is prioritising a new attacker in the January transfer window, and there are eight forwards on his radar as the Spaniard desperately pushes to bolster his option in the final third, according to the Daily Mail.

The North Londoners are actively looking to sign a forward during the winter market following a long-term injury to Bukayo Saka, and Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani has been offered to them.

However, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal have plans to recruit the services of the France international.

Athletic Bilbao forward Nico Williams remains a long-term target of the Gunners, and while his £50 million release clause is within their budget, it is unlikely that the Spain international will be leaving the La Liga club in the coming weeks.

Arsenal are also keen on Bayern Munich attacker Leroy Sane, but he is playing frequently at the Bundesliga club and a return to England may not appeal to him.

Real Madrid teenage forward Arda Guler is also of interest to the Gunners, but the Spanish club see him as a future star and will not entertain offers for him right now.

Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz is also an option for Arsenal, but they will face fierce competition from Bayern, Madrid and Manchester City for his services should he decide to leave the Bundesliga defending champions.

Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Matheus Cunha and Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo are also on the radar of the Emirates Stadium club, but the trio have proven important to their respective clubs so far this term, and getting them in January could prove very tricky.

RB Leipzig Benjamin Sesko also remains an Arsenal target, but a move during the upcoming transfer window is not feasible and a summer deal will have to come with a guarantee of regular playing opportunities.

Despite giving serious consideration towards joining the Gunners last summer, the Slovenian was reluctant to complete the move amid concerns he would be second-choice to Kai Havertz.

Arsenal made it clear that Sesko would not be guaranteed to play ahead of the Germany international, and the 6ft 5in hitman opted to sign a new contract with the Bundesliga club.

The North Londoners could do with his quality heading into the second half of 2024-25, but they will have to look elsewhere as getting him or the aforementioned seven targets could be impossible.
