Below seasonal temperatures have been the story across western canada and areas in ontario and québec are about to get a taste of that into next week as we look toward monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday. Below average temperatures moving in. Bringing with it more rain. Part of that is aided by this bigger upper trough. Look at the time here. Monday into tuesday. See how it pushes the jet stream south of the lower great lakes. That allows the pocket of colder air to develop within the region. It prompts temperatures to fall. In behind that, we will see a rise in temperatures across saskatchewan ask manitoba into the mild of next week. This morning, as we were kicking off your friday morning, we are tracking severe thunderstorms. There's a tornado warning in several communities east of demoney where we see this line of storms. There's rotation here. What we can also see with the intensity of these is there is significant hail. This banding that you see here shows that the winds are incredibly strong even outside of any sort of rotation. Either you are having that rotation on straight line winds which cause considerable damage. In the north end of this, across southern manitoba. Heavy rainfall pushing into southeastern saskatchewan as well. Those rainfall warnings now just east of the boundary with saskatchewan indicating 50 to 60 millimeters of rain through this event. Now in comparison to the rest of the prairies, where it is incredibly dry and water levels are low, the red river valley is seeing the opposite. Where water levels are already high. We had two big rain events through the week. The ground is saturated. Localized flooding and ponding is a concern. I would advice vice -- the other big story across ontario and québec is the temperature. We have seen a drop in temperature in comparison to earlier in the week. For some, it is now so cold that frost is a concern overnight. Especially in those early-morning hours, it is likely you will see frost developing tonight. Into the afternoon, lots of sunshine across the region. Following that, rain and snow for some in northwest ontario. Southern manitoba. We will talk more about that coming up. For now, here is a look at your local forecast.

They purchased tickets for themselves. >> My passport was in my maiden name and my itinerary was booked in my married name. >> At the time of the booking, the agent used the name on francesca's credit card. They were told their passports were not needed at that time. >> When we asked the agent if we required our passports, we were told no. And that would have add that information at the airport. >> But when the family arrived at pearson airport, francesca's name on the ticket did not match her passport. At first they were told it would be an easy fix, but it wasn't ask she was not allowed on the plane. >> It was devastating to be ripped apart at that point. Where they had to leave and I couldn't join them. >> She had to buy a new ticket for 2800 at her own expense. >> The fact that I couldn't get on the plane was their fault for not making sure that my ticket was booked appropriately and properly. >> Ctv news reached out to expedia and said, the name was provided by the traveler over the phone. We had every intention of providing assistance. We could not make changes as the flight had already been marked as no show by the airline partner.
