Count on Islanders Rebound With Decisive Home Win Over Tavares, Maple Leafs
Thursday offers a solid slate of NHL action with some highlighted matchups that should excite all fans of the sport.
The most intriguing appears to be third showdown between the New York Islanders and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Both teams notched a victory in the season series and will look to get the leg up and earn some much needed points.
It should be a great night of games and we look to improve on some of our impressive records like our wins with the Winter Classic over in goals on Tuesday and the Kings Devils under on Wednesday.

Bet: Islanders -1.5 (+215), Islanders Over 2.5 goals (-160), Maple Leafs Islanders Over 5.5 goals (-130)
This game is a pick 'em with the lines being almost even for both teams on the moneyline. It's rare we have such a tight matchup especially after each team dominated and won by multiple goals. The Leafs edged out a 3-1 win this past Tuesday but will have to travel to UBS arena for the first time this season.
Toronto enters with a three-game winning streak on the road and will look to add another lose to a New York team that has an abysmal 7-8-2 record in their own building. The Islanders may be due for a win as they've beat the Buds in three straight home matchups and have yet to piece together two straight wins at home this season.
They will learn from their mistakes made on Sunday and could look to come out with a more complete effort especially on offence.
They scored just one goal in Toronto but will get a chance to catch Joseph Woll on the road, who is the confirmed starter for the Leafs tonight and has allowed three goals in six of his seven road starts this season. The Leafs as a team have a 3.25 goals against average on the road this season which bolds well for New York.
The Islanders should get the win and continue the trend of doing it decisively and cover the puck line although don't count out the Leafs, who have a decent 3.13 goals per road game average that lands top 13 in the NHL.
