Could Bears be interested in Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian?

In the midst of the NFL playoffs beginning, the College Football Playoff is also underway, which means more coaches are eligible to showcase themselves to potential NFL vacancies. One college still remaining the CFP Semifinals is Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian, who is reportedly going to have interest from teams in the NFL with head coach openings.

Ahead of the start to the College Football Playoff Semifinals, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter appeared on "Get Up" and discussed Sarkisian's potential options in the NFL.

"I think there are a couple of teams that have some interest in speaking with Sark, after the season ends," Schefter said.

While Schefter predicted the interest, former NFL QB and current ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky predicted the two teams Sarkisian should get interest from, one being the Chicago Bears. Knowing how important it is to not only find the right coach to turn the culture around, but also develop quarterback Caleb Williams to his utmost potential, Orlovsky believes there could be interest from the Texas coach.

Orlovsky would add the two teams he thinks Sarkisian would be interested from the start, including Chicago.

"If I was Sark, and Jerry Jones called me and said 'I want you to come coach the Cowboys' I'd be like 'alright,'" Orlovsky said. "If I was Sark and the Chicago Bears called me, cause that's the thing too, I know he can develop quarterbacks, he gets to coach Caleb Williams? I'm listening to both those phone calls for sure."

With an already confirmed 16 candidates scheduled to meet, or already meeting, with the Bears, it remains to be seen if Sarkisian or any other college coach in the College Football Playoff would be of interest to the organization.
