Corsie out for eight weeks after knee surgery

Scotland defender Rachel Corsie has undergone "routine knee surgery" and will be out of action for eight weeks, her club Aston Villa have announced.

Corsie will now miss both legs of Scotland's Euros qualification tie against Hungary later this month.

If Pedro Martinez Losa's side progress, they will then face either Montenegro or Finland for a place in next summer's tournament in Switzerland.

The first leg takes place on 25 October (17:15), before the return leg on 29 October (19:35).
