Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Daniel Osbourne faces a tough time in court tonight (June 1) as he gives evidence over Justin Rutherford's stalking.

Daniel is one of the key witnesses at Justin's acid attack trial, which begins in this evening's visit to Weatherfield.

Although Daniel wasn't present for the moment that Justin threw acid during a visit to the Rovers Return, he was a witness to the villain's relentless stalking of Daisy Midgeley.

Andrew Still, who plays Justin, recently called for his character to get his comeuppance when this storyline comes to a head.

He said: "When I have been a viewer of a show and watched a character do terrible things, I can't help but hope that it's going to come back to bite them and I think that Justin certainly deserves justice to be served, because what he has done has been horrendous.

"I definitely think he should get his comeuppance."

Coronation Street airs nightly at 7.30pm this week and streams on ITVX.
