Connor McDavid and Nathan MacKinnon Highlight Fastest Skaters in NHL 25

Continuing with the NHL 25 ratings reveals, Connor McDavid and Nathan MacKinnon were unveiled as the fastest skaters in the game.

1. Connor McDavid - 96

2. Nathan MacKinnon - 96

3. Brayden Point - 95

4. Cale Makar - 95

5. Mathew Barzal - 95

6. Miro Heiskanen - 94

7. Owen Tippett - 94

8. Roope Hintz - 94

9. Ryan McLeod - 94

10. Quinn Hughes - 93

The top 10 is divided into seven forwards and three defensemen.

EA does not commonly give out 99 overall ratings but we hope to see McDavid upgraded to a 99 speed in a future update.

Despite McDavid topping this list Tippett reached the fastest top speed in the NHL last season per NHL EDGE, with Luke Hughes, McDavid, Point, and MacKinnon just behind.

Early in the game's release McLeod and Tippett will likely be popular cards in Hockey Ultimate Team, given they will be the most affordable on this list.
