Confirmed: Girona sign Lass Kourouma
La Liga outfit Girona have on Thursday secured fresh reinforcements for the club’s reserve side.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Lass Kourouma as the player to have put pen to paper on terms in Catalunya.
Kourouma, for his part, is a 20-year-old midfielder, who has spent recent seasons making a name for himself as a potential breakout talent on the books of Levante.
After spending the first half of the current campaign on loan at UD Ibiza, the youngster, brother of Celta Vigo star Ilaix Moriba, was recently recalled by Levante.
As much came with a view to another transfer, on this occasion to top-flight Girona.
And, as alluded to above, on Thursday, the move in question has been confirmed.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Girona have completed the signing of Lass Kourouma, a young 20-year-old Guinean midfielder, from Levante UD.’
Kourouma, praised for his versatility and drive, is expected to link up with Girona’s reserve outfit, with a view to making the step up to senior duties down the line.
