Sergio Conceicao had a brief, brunt and clear message for Milan ahead of tonight’s match against Como. ‘Talking is cheap, now we have to show some action.’

It kicks off at the Stadio Sinigaglia at 17.30 GMT.

You can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from this game and Atalanta-Juventus on the Liveblog.

These Week 19 fixtures were postponed due to the Supercoppa Italiana Final Four tournament in Riyadh, which was won by the Rossoneri on Conceicao’s debut.

However, his opening Serie A fixture was a 1-1 draw with Cagliari, after which he said the first half was “the worst” in 13 years of management.

When asked during the warm-ups about that performance, Conceicao muttered a few words into the microphone before rushing off.

“I talked too much about that game, now it’s a totally different match and this is what matters,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“We have to improve in many areas, we discussed it and worked in training, now we hope for the best.”

Is this game yet another test for Milan, who after all have had many missed opportunities already this season when they seemed to be on the right track and then lost their way again?

“Talking is cheap, now we have to show some action and get a result. That’s all.”

Emerson Royal returns from suspension, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Samuel Chukwueze and Alessandro Florenzi carrying injuries.

Also absent is Noah Okafor, who had flown out to Germany for a medical with RB Leipzig, but that loan with option to buy transfer sensationally collapsed.
