Conceicao blunt before Como match: “Talking doesn’t matter, we have to get results”
AC Milan head coach Sergio Conceicao has once again insisted that the time for talking is over, and that his team must start to get results.
The pressure is on Milan to right the wrongs from Saturday night, when they were held to a 1-1 draw by a Cagliari side that sit in 18th place. With no disrespect meant to the Sardinians, it was a game that simply had to be a win, especially given that Lazio and Juventus had dropped points earlier in the round.
Tonight, the Rossoneri face off against Como for the first time since the 2002-03 season. Fiorentina were beaten last night in Monza while Juventus play Atalanta, so there could be a further chance to begin a climb up the table.
Conceicao spoke to the microphones of Sky not long before kick-off at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, and his comments were relayed by MilanNews.
How did you communicate with the team?
“I didn’t talk about the last match. Let’s hope everything is different today, we have to improve in many things and we’ve worked. Let’s hope for the best”
Is this the last chance to get back in the Champions League places?
“Talking doesn’t matter, we have to get results. Okay?”
