Como In Talks To Get Rid Of Real Madrid Buyback Clause On Inter Milan Target
Como are in talks to get rid of a Real Madrid buyback clause on Inter Milan target Nico Paz.
This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, via FCInterNews.
At the moment, Paz is a Como player. The Lombard signed the Argentine on a permanent basis from Real Madrid last summer.
However, there is a bit of a hitch. Real retain a buyback clause, which would allow them to bring Nico Paz back next summer.
Como In Talks To Get Rid Of Real Madrid Buyback On Nico Paz
Paz’s form has been outstanding this season.
The 20-year-old has been Como’s key man in midfield. He has had no trouble adjusting to life in Serie A.
But there is a bit of a downside to this for Como.
With Real’s buyback clause in effect, it could be tough for the Lariani to avoid losing Paz next summer. Whether that is because Real want to keep the Argentine, or sell him for a profit.
Inter in particular see Paz as a major target.
However, Como are still determined to retain Nico Paz.
Therefore, Sky transfer market expert Di Marzio reports, the Lariani are taking steps to try and secure the Argentine’s future.
He reports that there are now talks ongoing between Como and Real Madrid.
According to Di Marzio, Como are ready to invest as much as €15-20 million to remove all buyback and sell-on clauses in Paz’s deal.
