The Commanders radio call of Zane Gonzalez's doinked field goal was so epic
What a way the Washington Commanders beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday in the Wild Card round of the 2025 playoffs: Zane Gonzalez nailed a 37-yard field goal thanks to a DOINK off the right upright.
And while we have to give props to the call from Mike Tirico on NBC as the football (see below), which was so good -- "THEY DOINKED THEIR WAY TO THE DIVISIONAL ROUND!" -- we need to focus on the call from Commanders radio with Bram Weinstein and London Fletcher.
"The Cardiac Commanders are the Clutch Commanders!!" Weinstein screamed. And then just listen to Fletcher.
Given that this is the first Washington playoff win in forever, this is warranted.
"THEY DOINKED THEIR WAY TO THE DIVISIONAL ROUND! UNBELIEVABLE!"
