Columbus Blue Jackets Loan Jordan Dumais To Cleveland

The Columbus Blue Jackets have loaned forward Jordan Dumais to the Cleveland Monsters, it was announced Saturday.

Dumais has yet to appear in a game this season after landing on season-opening injured reserve with a lower-body injury.

A product of Longueuil, Que., and a 2022 third round pick of the Blue Jackets, Dumais will be making his pro debut after spending the 2023-24 season with the QMJHL's Halifax Mooseheads. In 21 games, he scored 16 goals and added 31 assists for 47 points.

Over parts of four seasons with the Mooseheads, Dumais collected 119 goals and 206 assists for 325 points in 193 career regular season games.

A dynamic player during his junior career, Dumais will be making his long awaited transition to the pro game. If he can find anywhere near the magic he had on a nightly basis in juniors, Dumais will be on a trip back to Columbus real soon.
