Columbus Blue Jackets (12 pts) vs. Seattle Kraken (13 pts) Game Preview

The Columbus Blue Jackets are in Seattle tonight to take on the Kraken for the first time this season.

The Jackets have lost all four games in this five-game road trip and look to break that streak against the Kraken, who have been in quite a slump themselves. The Kraken have lost 7 of their last 9 games but won their last game against Vegas.

The Jackets and Kraken are very similar in terms of their stats. The Jackets rank 17th on the PP to the Kraken's 20th. Columbus' PK is 12th compared to Seattle's 18th. But the Kraken ranks 18th in PIMs to the Blue Jackets 4th, so look for the Jackets PP to get plenty of chances.

Columbus is tired of losing and will look for a win before heading back to Nationwide Arena on Friday to play Pittsburgh.

Seattle is currently 6th in the Pacific, 12th in the West, and 26th in the NHL.
