Chelsea star Cole Palmer has revealed what goes through his mind when he steps up to take a penalty…not very much, if he’s honest.

The England international scored all nine of his penalties for Chelsea last season, scoring 25 goals in total for the Blues in 2024/25.

But the 22-year-old told the BBC’s Football Daily podcast that there was only one occasion when he had a clear plan in mind when he stepped up to the penalty spot.

That’s why they call him ‘Cold’ Palmer.
