Coachella Valley Firebirds Reveal Training Camp Roster
The Coachella Valley Firebirds have revealed their training camp roster featuring the likes of Jagger Firkus, David Goyette and Jani Nyman.
The Seattle Kraken have completed nearly all of their roster cuts, with a few players expected to be sent back to their junior clubs and the rest to the Firebirds. With all the cuts the Kraken have made, the Firebirds are ready to begin training camp, and their roster is filled with young talent.

Up front, their roster includes Luke Henman, Nolan Sullivan, Damien Giroux, Landon McCallum, Ian McKinnon, Cade Borchardt, Lleyton Roed, Jani Nyman, Jackson Berezowski, Cam Morrison, Jagger Firkus, Tucker Robertson, Max Andreev, David Goyette, and Logan Morrison.
The backend consists of Jake McLaughlin, Marcus Crawford, Nikolas Brouillard, Turner Ottenbreit, Ryan Jones, Ty Nelson, David Noel, Maxime Lajoie, and Charlie Wright. The three goaltenders are Niklas Kokko, Victor Ostman and Jack LaFontaine.
Players with the Kraken who are expected to be sent down to the minors are Jacob Melanson, Brandin Biro, John Hayden, Max McCormick, Ales Stezka, Cale Fleury, Gustav Olofsson, Mitchell Stephens and possibly one or both of Ben Meyers and Ryan Winterton. Winterton and Meyers have impressed during pre-season and are fighting to make the team out of training camp.
The Firebirds season begins on Oct. 11, when they host the Bakersfield Condors at Acrisure Arena.
