CM: Verona director makes admission on Belahyane – Milan in talks over €8-10m deal
Hellas Verona’s sporting director Sean Sogliano has admitted that midfielder Reda Belahyane is in demand, and AC Milan are among the teams linked.
Calciomercato.com have published an update on the situation linked to Belahyane, starting with Sogliano’s comments as he spoke at the Festival del Calcio about what the future might hold.
“Belahyane is a young guy who has some demands. We have to live with this. Will he stay behind January? If I could I would keep them all, let’s see. His asking price? The president will decide,” he said.
The report adds that Milan are indeed admirers of Belahyane, a Moroccan international with French citizenship. His performances this season have attracted the concrete interest of Geoffrey Moncada, who had been following him since his time at OGC Nice.
The demands at present are in the €8-10m range to sanction a sale in the January window. In the past few days there have been some discussions between the Rossoneri management and DW Sports Management, the agency that manages the 20-year-old.
Despite Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s enigmatic comments suggesting that the club are not looking to strengthen in January, it appears that Belahyane is an opportunity they are in fact looking to pounce upon.
