CM: Reflections underway on Bonera’s position after latest Milan Futuro disaster
Milan Futuro were condemned to another dreadful defeat in a difficult debut season, and reflections on Daniele Bonera’s position are underway.
The Futuro suffered their worst defeat of the season not just in terms of scoreline but in terms of how they were totally blown away, finding themselves three goals down after less than 15 minutes and four goals down by the break. Eventually, they would lose 5-1 as the second half wasn’t much better.
As Calciomercato.com report, the manner of the defeats that the young Rossoneri team are suffering have forced reflections on the position of head coach Daniele Bonera, the one chosen to lead the team into its maiden campaign in Serie C.
Admittedly, he has often been without the likes of Francesco Camarda, Kevin Zeroli and Alex Jimenez as they have been called up to the first team, yet the way that the team continue to fold under the first bit of pressure must worry the directors.
After 22 games played, Milan Futuro are 18th place in the Serie C Group B standings and the risk of possible relegation is rising after a €12m investment to launch the project. News on Bonera’s future, therefore, might be just around the corner.
