CM: Milan scouting Como midfield star but Real Madrid hold controlling clause
Nico Paz is rightly drawing a lot of praise for his performances with newly-promoted Como, and a report has claimed that AC Milan are among his admirers.
As Calciomercato.com report, Paz had his footballing education as a young player at Real Madrid as he learned from Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, who are of course among the best to ever play the position of central midfielder.
He studied their secrets and movements with great attention, convinced that sooner or later his moment would come. Last year he scored the decisive goal against Napoli in the Champions League while this year he decided to head to Como to work under another great midfielder, Cesc Fabregas.
The 20-year-old went on a permanent deal from Real Madrid worth €6m plus 50% on any future resale. In addition, Los Blancos will be able to take advantage of a possible buy-back, but the figure for that is not mentioned.
Paz was born as an attacking midfielder, but can also play as a mezzala, right winger and second striker. Last night against Atalanta he dominated the game, first causing Kolasinac’s own goal and then delighting with the assist for Fadera’s winner.
It was a performance that surprised the many scouts – both Italian and foreign – present in the stands of the Gewiss Stadium. Real Madrid will watch on with interest, while Napoli, Inter, Juventus and Milan are following him with great attention.
