CM: Milan ready last-minute offer for Torino star Ricci despite ‘fatal knockout’

AC Milan still want to improve the squad despite missing out on the money from direct qualification for the last 16 of the Champions League.

Calciomercato.com speak of a ‘fatal knockout’ against Dinamo Zagreb which complicates the path moving forward and causes economic damage. Nevertheless, Milan intend to try and sign Santiago Gimenez and they will also make an attempt for Samuele Ricci.

Tijjani Reijnders and Youssouf Fofana are working overtime, Ismael Bennacer is back from injury but is not yet 100%, while Yunus Musah continues to be used more on the right and Ruben Loftus-Cheek is battling constant injury issues.

New blood is needed to refresh the department and Ricci remains the number one idea. The formula that will be proposed by the management is a loan with an obligation to buy, yet it remains a complex idea given the desire of the Granata to keep the player at least until June.
