CM: Milan continue to scout Lille star after recent declaration of admiration
Edon Zhegrova seemed to issue a ‘come and get me plea’ to AC Milan a few days ago, and the management continue to monitor him.
Calciomercato.com report that Lille are one of the teams to watch around Europe when it comes to talents and the transfer window. Players such as Jonathan David and Ayyoub Bouaddi have helped them turn heads in the Champions League, after beating Real Madrid too.
There is another gem who on Tuesday night was the protagonist of the game against Juventus and seems to be eyeing up a move to Serie A: Edon Zhegrova. At the end of the game – in which he provided the assist for David’s goal that made it 1-0 – he made some interesting declarations.
“I like Italian football, I always follow your big teams like Milan and I also watch Juve’s games. Then in Kosovo there are many fans of Milan, Inter and Juve. Me in Serie A one day? Why not? I really like Milan, I like Milan,” he said.

Milan have been following him for a long time, given Fonseca was very important for him in his growth at Lille to the point of having defined him as ‘the coach who changed his career’.
The Rossoneri are not alone though, as Juventus and Atalanta are also keen. In short there is a queue for Zhegrova, and the amount requested by Lille for the 25-year-old increases game by game.
