CM: Fonseca watches Milan Futuro midfielder up close in SPAL win
Paulo Fonseca was in the stands during Milan Futuro’s 2-1 win over SPAL last night and there was one player above all that he wanted to take a look at, a report claims.
The Futuro have had a difficult start to the season with zero wins in five league games prior to last night, but they got their first victory of the Serie C season last night as they beat SPAL 2-1 at home after a great second-half performance.
Chaka Traore got the winner with just a few minutes left after it looked like the visitors had stolen a point, and he did so under the eyes of Zlatan Ibrahimović, Geoffrey Moncada, Antonio D’Ottavio, Jovan Kirovski and Vincenzo Vergine.
As Calciomercato.com report, Fonseca was in attendance at the game too and – in addition to the players he has already had the opportunity to see in first team training – he wanted to take a look at the Swedish midfielder Demirel Hodzic, who scored the first goal.
Hodzic is a product of IFK Goteborg’s academy in Sweden and he moved to Bologna in 2022 and became a part of their Primavera team. He joined Milan during the summer window, with the expectation being that he would get a look in the senior side sooner rather than later.
