CM: ‘A finished story’ – Juventus have already made decision on €20m Milan loanee
Pierre Kalulu joined Juventus on loan with an option to buy in the summer, and it has taken just four months for a decision to be made on his future.
As Calciomercato.com report, it took just a few weeks for Kalulu to become a pillar of Thiago Motta’s side. The Frenchman is now an essential player in the present and will be in the future when he officially becomes a Juve player.
In the summer he arrived from Milan for a €3.3m loan fee, payable in two financial years, but the permanent move will only occur when the €14m option to buy is triggered. That amount is payable across three financial years and is a formality that will be completed in the coming weeks.
The official statement from Juventus, released when the 2022 Scudetto winner was announced as a new signing, also speaks of some bonuses that could add another €3m to the overall cost of the operation. Therefore, it could become a €20m deal in total.
The former Lyon man has already played 21 games for the Bianconeri, being used as a right-back but mainly as a central defender. His brother Aldo Kalulu was recently asked about a potential future with Milan.
“Milan? It is difficult to imagine a future together again. He does not expect anything from Milan and Milan should not expect anything from him. It is a finished story,” he said.
