The lawyer for jaskirat singh sidhu said that the decision was a foregone conclusion as all that was required to deport sidhu was proof that he's not a canadian citizen and that he committed a serious crime. 16 people were killed and 13 were injured in the 2018 crash in 2019 sidhu, who is from india, was sentenced to 8 years in prison after pleading guilty last year.
