It's 7.15 police are searching for a man who tried to steal a car and crashed into the cbc building downtown. It happened around :30pm tuesday afternoon. Police say the owner of the vehicle went into a nearby business. Well as wife and 18 year-old child waited in the parked car and then entered the vehicle crashed into the portage avenue building while trying to steal it and assaulted the female passenger. Police say the suspect ran off before they arrived. And anyone with information is asked to contact them. We now know who the tories are backing in this summer's tax. That will be the case through much of the day at 40 gusting at times to 60 kilometres per hour. >> I home heating up slightly 8 degrees, likely rainfall continuing those winds staying just a strong out of the northeast. >> Overnight, we're looking at temperatures dipping down to 4 likely another 10 millimetres could fall for us here in southern manitoba. And then sunday, a bit of an outlier here. 18 degrees, lots of sunshine to enjoy monday. We keep the heat, but we get that rainfall back. A high of 19 degrees. We rebound nicely on tuesday and look at that, we're finally back towards what's normal in terms of temperatures. 20 degrees on tuesday and are lots of sunshine and then it gets warmer from their 25 on wednesday with lots of sunshine and a mix of sun and cloud.
