She's the tile guru with the dedication to empowering women to feel beautiful and confident. We are loving it. Trinny, good morning. Great to see you. >> Great to see you, meredith. Very happy to be here. >> Meredith: yeah, this is a real feat. I can't wait to talk to you about it. This is new to us here in canada, but already just a huge hit in europe where it was

originally released. Talk to me about getting this book and all your heart and thoughts on paper. >> I think the reason I wrote it, because I didn't know if I would have the time to write it, but I have a lot of people who dm me through social and they might say, trinny, you talked about this thing, where can I find it? So myself and the team -- because we have about 13,000 comments a week -- we would direct people to different things and then there were so many people saying can you just put it in a book? Can you just put it in a book? I thought, I'll just put it in a bloody book. Let's do it. I run a business and it was challenging, but I wanted to put it into what I thought were three categories, meredith, that women and I talk about the most. And the one actually I start with is life. Because we have lots of things that affect us to not be able to -- we have a lovely picture there of necklines -- but I start with life in the book. And then I go on to talk about identifying yourself. So the colour palate is a way of working out what you suit colour-wise and then we go on to skin care, make-up and getting dressed. But in the -- I think what I found over the years and you and I have had conversations about this, it's how we feel emotionally that allows us to then decide, let's push ourselves on how we get dressed in the morning or let's think about why we're making an effort for ourselves or let's get the motivation to get out of bed and want to dodo that. So there's a lot of stuff about how I just bring up a subject in each chapter and at the end of each chapter I'll say, ask yourself and challenge yourself, because over the years I'm not good at being a passive reader. I quite like a manual. I want to think at the end. I'm the kind of person who highlights stuff in a book. So I wanted there to be action from the book, and you can dip into a chapter and think, am I about intuition or instinct? Do I know the difference? What's my relationship with it like and how does it affect my daily life. Could it be my hormones affecting me or is it just I'm feeling low? I hope to give enough about each subject matter that people can think, do I want to explore that more? >> Meredith: the way you've decided to edit it together, it's brilliant because you give us the tools but you also give us the information. I mean, itt really is -- it's one of the books -- I read it and said I want to give this to every woman I know because it sets you up in whatever decade you're in. And also gets personal to you as well. We see you, you're so successful, and you have been in every chapter of your life. But you do let us into that gap for you, from where you were to where you are. I always find that -- >> I thought I've not always been successful at all, meredith. I've had definitely what I call ten-year cycles, you know? Where things have gone in one direction and then I've had to have a reset. And sometimes that reset is a really financial one where I've been at a rock bottom in my mental and, you know, finances, and started over again. I probably had a reset three times in my life and each time I think, you know, from those moments that you learn a lot more than from moments of success. >> Meredith: yes. And we appreciate you sharing all of that. We're tight on time and I just -- I mean, I could talk to you like we do forever and ever. If we have one piece of advice that you could pull from the book or saying to canadian women because you have a fan base here, what would you say to us, trinny? >> 99% of oh everything we worry about never happens. >> Meredith: hmm. That's true. That's so true. That's a mic drop moment. We'll take it aund run with that. The book is fearless. It's available now. It's a must-read.
