And if this person reaches their conditions, we want you to call the police what we are also going to be monitoring this individual and if they don't follow the conditions that have been imposed on them they will be taken back into custody. >> Said residents deserve to know where sex offenders are being released and what type of monitoring is being done to ensure public safety. >> On this day in 18984 an organization inviting members of the public to help stop crime was formed. And now the metro vancouver crime toppers is celebrating its 40th anniversary p crime stoppers lets members of the public anonymously call the organization with information about a crime which would then be passed on to police. They received up to 2000 dollars in rewards and their identity never revealed. Today tipsters can reach crime stoppers through an app, social media and their website in over 100 languages and get rewards of up to 5,000 dollars. On-line chatter suggests it's a chicken restaurant on kings way in burnaby and we've reached out to that restaurant for comment but haven't heard back.

Now that's according to the mayor of the region that includes fort nelson where the parker lake wildfire has been burning on out of control for nearly two weeks. A deadline of monday or tuesday to allow residents to return to their homes. Over 4700 people were put under an evacuation order because of blaze which fraser says no longer poses an imminent risk to the community. Some doctors is grocery store workers have already returned and officials say the remaining evacuees will be brought back in gradually. >> After another mostly sunny day in metro vancouver what does the rest of the week look like?
