The canada infrastructure bank announced the $75 million loan which we'll go towards for new zero emission vessels and electric charging infrastructure. The infrastructure is expected to be done by 2027 with electric fairies slated to be used on smaller routes. Bc ferry already has six hybrid electric boats running but they are running on diesel until the charging equipment is up and running. Loan repayment is expected to come from passenger fares and retail revenue. >> Competitors have been announced from one of the biggest summer events in vancouver. Malaysia, the united kingdom, and portugal will be the three teams competing in this year's celebration of light. The annual fireworks competition takes over english bay beach for three days in july with three separate half hour long fireworks shows from each team. Mounties were alerted by an automatic crash notified from a smart for -- smart phone. The location was near mount ellesmere. Several resources including squamish search and rescue and blackcomb helicopters and several members of the public assisted in the search for the plane. The rcmp says it is working with the transportation safety board and the bc coroners service to investigate the incident. The mayor of the british columbia municipality that includes the evacuated community of fort nelson says the orders that forced thousands from their homes due to wildfires are set to left at 8:00 am monday may 27th. Statement from northern rockies regional municipality mayor rob fraser says evacuation alerts will remain in place for the area as active wildfires are still burning nearby. Residents of fort nelson and the fort nelson first nations have been out of their homes since may 10th due to an out-of-control wildfires that spread within kilometres of the city limits at its peak. >> Reporter: one suspect was arrested and one victim taken to hospital after stabbing in north vancouver on saturday around 4:00 pm. The incident happened near the intersection of deep cove road and mount seymour parkway. The suspect remains in custody while the condition the victim it -- condition of the victim is unknown. We have reached out for more information. Mounties in surrey are investigating an armed robbery that took place friday evening. They say it happened around 530 when they were called to one 20th street and 92nd avenue for reports of a stolen phone. When they arrived on scene, they learned two men in masks with weapons had entered a business, spoke to one of the workers, and took a phone on the way out. Surrey rcmp say no one was injured in the incident is believed to be targeted. If you have any information or dash cam footage of the incident, you are urged to contact surrey rcmp.
