Target the b.c.'s coroner services with some caused by toxic drugs. There were 188 deaths in provincial and federal correctional facilities reported between 2013 and 2023. While 18% were deemed accidental, two-thirds of those were caused by toxic drugs. The average over 10 years was 17 deaths. 25 inmates died in B.C. correctional institutions last year alone.
