Meteorologist kalin mitchell joins us now with your maritime weather forecast. And kalin, we did see some areas dealing with showers earlier, but we are certain to see that clear. Yeah, a lot of that is clearing or coming to an end. There is still may be a low chance couple spotty showers as we're moving towards midnight. >> Parts of the new brunswick, few areas of prince edward island to be a few clouds around tonight. We still have a weather front that's working its way through. There is some less humid air coming into the maritime region in behind that front, though, so we're not going to have that same level of mugginess that we had at the start of this week on our timeline, then for cloud cover and precipitation. The chances remaining showers showing up here in through the greens. You can see a few of those around eastern new brunswick. And again, prince edward island might be a chance that one of those showers in the early morning hours of saturday could restore parts of inverness and victoria counties in cape breton, mix of sun and cloud to get the day started for tomorrow and continues to be a mix of sun and cloud into and through saturday afternoon with about a 20 or 30% chance of a shower popping for communities in the east of new brunswick and maybe a 20% chance. The interior of eastern areas of mainland nova scotia winds for tomorrow will be out of the northwest will be breezy. You'll notice some will be sustained between 10 and 30 kilometres per hour. Some possible gusts between 30 and 50 kilometres per hour, with gusts close to 50 look like they will be mostly around exposed areas of the atlantic coastline of nova scotia. Taking a look at lows in the forecast for tonight. Pretty pleasant low temperatures between 8 and 12 degrees for the region. And then here's a look at your high temperatures for saturday in the northwest, new brunswick and 18 19 degrees for most communities. She in the east could get up to around 20 down towards central and southern areas. New brunswick for tomorrow. 22 at fredericton, 21 for heartland 19 at grand manan, backup 22 for st. John. And then 19 degrees for moncton. The southeast prince edward island on saturday, high temperatures, 14 to 17 degrees, the mix of sun and clouds, northwest winds, 20 gusting to 40 kilometres per hour for cape breton for tomorrow, a little bit cooler for inverness county in that northwest wind. So 14 at cheticamp and fort hood, something goes for the inverness area. Sidney 18 degrees. 16 a port hawkesbury 17. It had a goes for saturday, then near 20 for new glasgow and antigonish near 19 for amherst. 21 for truro city centres, halifax, dartmouth tomorrow near 21 degrees. It's going to be near 21 for the annapolis valley. 19 for digby communities in the south shore and southwest of nova scotia. Many between around 2023, the little bit cooler at yarmouth and barrington, both closer to 17. In the 7 day outlook for new brunswick on sunday, some increasing cloudiness and a chance of showers in the southwest of the province. Fredericton and then into the southwest, including st. John, charlotte county increasing cloudiness in the forecast for monday. And then periods of rain for tuesday. After that, a mix of sun and cloud for wednesday. A chance of showers thursday into friday for nova scotia for the end of the weekend. On sunday, some increasing cloudiness and a chance of showers in the western half of the mainland, including halifax, the south shore and the annapolis valley. Increasing cloudiness on monday. Periods of rain expected on tuesday. A mix of sun and clouds wednesday and a chance of showers thursday and friday for prince edward island temperatures to cool for the upcoming weekend highs. Expect to be around the mid teens will saturday and sunday on monday. It's increasing cloudiness followed by periods of rain for tuesday. A mix of sun and cloud for wednesday.
