Officers, they're still in the area looking for a suspect described as a man with dreadlocks wearing all black clothing. Outside the city. A girls hockey coach in brampton has been charged for allegedly sexually exploiting 2 players on his team. 26-year-old josh or sam. It charged with 2 counts each of sexual exploitation and child luring peel. Regional police began investigating a little over a month ago after being given information about alleged inappropriate behaviour involving a coach. The ontario women's hockey association says sam it is ineligible to coach in its sanctioned events pending the results of the charges. Anyone with information as contact peel police. And york region police are concerned that a 20 year-old man charged with sexual offences involving minors has been approaching students at high schools in new market. 20 year-old john. Our offensive around john is facing multiple charges. Police believe on 2 separate occasions last year, he lied about his age posing as a teenager and met with girls. In one instance, police claim that he attended a party until the 13 year-old girl. He was 16 before arranging a meeting at a later date. And a man has been convicted of murdering his mom in leslieville in 2022. A jury ruled the 23 year-old dallas leaves guilty of second-degree murder and the death of his mother. 56 year-old ken lee. Her body was found in several garbage bags in march of 2022 eastern avenue after being fatally stabbed at an apartment that she shared with her son. The killing his mother was never a doubt during the trial, but the defence had argued that it was the result of years of abuse. He will be sentenced at a later time. And police in hamilton are looking for the public's help after the number of shootings in that city. More than doubling over the past year. Among those incidents, a day like gunfight that occurred just moments after kids were walking through the area. The most recent just this past weekend, 3 suspects seen fleeing after shooting at apartment building in many of the shootings. Police say they're encountering big obstacles. Their too many instances of refusal to help us. So they're appealing to the public for help. This video taken on may 13th shows a little girl walking down an alley in the area of barton street and ken rate, just moments before shot was fired. Police say they have received help from the public. And that is making all the difference. There are a number of cameras in the area and police say the community here refused to put up with the violence, much securing evidence at the scene. A tornado warning for areas north of toronto has been called off the areas that were impacted, including aurora bradford, east gwillimbury innisfil new market and the surrounding areas. Canada says the severe thunderstorms have also moved westbound and severe thunderstorm warnings have been called off for these areas as well. >> But all all I got hold on a minute.
