Our caryn ceolin is live on school grounds this morning with the latest. Looks like there's a crowd of people gathering behind you, as well as a little bit moretivity than there has been in the past at this time of the morning. Caryn? >> Caryn: yeah, good morning, tammie. Protesters who have been camped out at king's college circle for weeks now have just under 30 minutes to clear out this encampment or face legal action. Now, they are holding a rally as well at 8 A.M. with their supporters as wewe as a number of labour unions including the ontario federation of labour. So supporters are starting to gather outsideover the fencing to substantialed in -- stand in solidarity with the pro-palestinian protesters in hopes of demanding the university to comply with their requests, as well as to hold this rally in defiance of the university's trespass order which was issued friday. University officials, as I mentioned, have set a deadline of 8 A.M. for the protesters to clear out this encampment or they say they will head to court to seek an injunction to force those who are entrenched on campus to comply. Now, the protesters met with university officials on sunday afternoon, they presented what they described as a counteroffer, asking the university to disclose immediately disclose its public investments linked to t t war in gaza.

the u of t issued an offer of their own in which they said that they would set up a working group to study that request. However, pro-palestinian protesters here have indicated that is not enough. They say representatives from their own legal team will also be heading to court at 8 A.M. to fight u of t's injunction that it is trying to obtain. We will of course have the latest at 8 a.m., tammie. As I mentioned there will be a rally underway, supporters continue to gather here outside the fencing and we will bring that to you live on "bt" at 8 A.M. >> Tammie: that is caryn ceolin live at the u of t campus this morning. Thank you so much for that. >>> Solidarity gathering is set this morning outside of an all-girls' jewish school in north york. The rise in targeted incidents guest jewish people have prompted police to increase their presence at jewish schools and synagogues. We are live here this morning at the school that was targeted over the weekend. You can see that people are sorting to -- starting to arrive here at the building and you can sese there's still a police presence ahead of the return to class. Many supporters, including mayor olivia chow will be in attendance for this solidarity gathering hosted by the uja. That is set to start at 8:020. Toronto police chief myron demkiw also expected in attendance. >>> Who will be mississauga's next mayor? D-day is a monumental tide turner in the second world war with, ultimately leading to the allies liberating western europe from the nazis less than a year later. >>> 7:39 here on "bt." time now to take a look at the forecast and we say good morning to chief meteorologist natasha ramsahai who is in for frank ferragine this morning. He's heading down to florida to all the warm weather. We're getting cooler rainy weather up here. >> Natasha: I know you said the rain woke you up this morning, right? >> Tammie: yes. >> Natasha: that's this round. Then there's another round and a third round. It's going to be a day, okay. If you're a meteorologist it's going to be busy here. We're forecasting the storms to potentially approach severe limits an as well. Severe limits means 90 kilometres per hour winds, large hail as well as intense lightning and we've got this second round which is just on our doorstep right now. Taking a look at ottawa. Oh, that was an interesting transition. We have these white patches showing up on the radar, that's high reflecktivity and indicating there's hail within the storms through ottawa. Back over towards southwestern ontario though, we are talking about the lightning in michigan. That's what's going to be here. Around 9, 10 o'clock in the morning when we start seeing oranges like this pop up on the future cast, it is likely some heavy downpours that's going to be in place. Even through the lunch hour, the heavy downpours moves off to the east. There's rain, but tapering off. Sunny breakakin there, but that can help to pop up more of the isolated storms, especially to the north, as we head I io the afternoon. Through the evening we'll dry things out. This could be a fast 15 to 35 millimetres. The blue indicates that amount of rainfall. But it's coming through in a short period of time. That's why we're talking about the potential for ponding and pooling out there. Few millimetres of rain coming tomorrow and dry for the next of the week. So far the weekend is dry. Partly cloudy skies, comfortable temperatures and low humidity. >> Announcer: breakfast television's pollen report is brought to you by reactine, reactine acts fast to relieve allergy symptoms and lasts 24 hours. [ ] [ ] >> Stephanie: good morning, natasha. Good morning, everybody. Oh, your roads today, they are definitely on the busy side for a monday. But I did want to start off with good news. The good news is from the eastbound 401, the problem we had at keele in the express in the left lane is completely cleared, which is great. The problem we had east of the 407 is gone. Bad news is we're seeing significant delays on the eastbound 401. It's quite jammed up from the 410 over to about the 400, alternately express and collectors. So it's a busy, busy one on the eastbound 401. That's a look through keele where you can see the volume is still extensive moving through the area. Give yourself tons of extra time. Now for the really, really bad news, this problem we have ongoing on the westbound qew does remain. Westbound qew just as you approach dixie, the two right lanes are blocked because of a collision involving at least one vehicle on its roof. Emergency crews have been responding along with tow trucks. Looks like the delays are actually extending from the 427 and even the gardiner, seeing delays on the westbound gardiner from kipling in the express to the qew. And then this is a lookt the 427 where you can see delays are pretty much jammed solid from burnhamthorpe in the express down to this qew ramp. It's not moving and same goes for the qew itself behind the problem. Not really moving. Outside of that, mto is on the scene and no word when it will reopen. Westbound 401 delays continue 412 approaching salem. Honestly the drive throughgh scarborough is excellent. Delays McCOWAN to kennedy in the express. It's not too bad. North york, you see delays on the westbound 401 approaching long-term construction between avenue and dufferin in the express. It's down to two lanes from three and as a result you're seeing d days here from the 404 in both the express and collectors off and on.
