did let go of its ceo and cofounder. And now there has been an upheaval that has been brewing the last couple of months. And this up evil coming ahead of the company's annual meeting, which is tuesday. So the ceo and board of directors have resigned and this paves the way for the company's cofounder to return as chief executive. Several major co- holders have been pledging to have the ceo reinstated ever since last year. And at that time the -- the company made the stretch -- switch because he said he had lost the board's trust and confidence. The board then appointed a new slate of directoror, all kind of coming out of nowhere. But ahead of that annual shareholder meeting on tuesday. And the battle has really played out publicly. It has turned ugly at times. Shares are still up by about 11% so far this year. But this drama is not over yet. Let us see how the rest of this plays out, starting with that meeting on tuesday. >> It should be interesting on tuesday. To be a fly on the wall. Look out for that. On this is good news, rail strikes here in canada, or one looming will likely not be happening until mid july? >> Mid july at the earliest. And they're sort of a weird reason for it. But I'm sure we will take the relief. We learn from canadian pacific kansas city, that railway sat down for a few days of talks with the teamsters rail conference union. There was no progress at no additional bargaining dates have been scheduled. Workers at sea -- workers voted overwhelmingly in favour of a strike this past wednesday. The federal government stepped in and asked the canadian government's realty board if the strike would have safety implications, and a legal strike or lockout will not happen until that decision comes down. It sounds like middle of july would be the earliest. And we all know any kind of work stoppage in the rail industry, particularly at the two biggest railways could be very, very bad for canada's supply chain. >> Products stopped in their tracks right there.
