( ) all right kevin, it's 8:06 A.M. and how are things going on how are things looking for the weather. >> Kevin: seeing that temperatures climbing dot-coms when you get the nice clear skies and sunshine and things warm up fast end around 6:00 I just the perfect time of the year headed to that first day of summer and really noticeable to and you could see things turning green and almost by the hour in some places especially with all the rain we had last week and 9 degrees outside right now in edmonton and it is 8 degrees in spruce grove and 9 degrees and downtown at southeast winds with partly cloudy skies and starting off the day with the city and the city is looking absolutely gorgeous and starting to get the colour coming up, lots of trees and full blue and whites and reds and cherry colours and looking at satellite and radar pictures and nothing really significant around anywhere and seeing a bit of a pickup as we look off to the west of us and just straight down highway 60 towards hinton. Adding into the other side of the province down south and even less happening in their so nice and calm start to the day and lots of sunshine throughout the day at and staying in that sunshine and 11:00 and this gets us into some cloud cover probably around three to 4 in the afternoon and no no real risk until we are into that maybe 10:00 mark or so and even then it will be quite isolated and that pre-develop again as we head into tomorrow so chance of showers or thundershowers tomorrow afternoon is not system moves through and continues and then we clear up on sunday night into monday morning and then for a few days of continuous sunshine actually in some nice temperatures on the way and we should be close to the MID-'20s by the middle part of the week and for today across the prompts 19 in medicine hat and brooks and 19 in lethbridge and 16 in calgary 19 in drumheller and 18 and 17 in coronation and 17 in red deer and 12 degrees and canmore for today and looking a little further north today bar headed 18 and same thing at westlock. 16 and lac la biche and 17 woodsmoke lake and 17 into hills and 14 and cold lake to the north and high level at 21 and fort mcmurray at 20 degrees today and 22 in peace river in 19 in 17 and valley view at 17 and 19 in high prairie and 17 degrees in slave lake. To the west of us, jasper it's showers and 14 at 14 and henson and edson at 15 and 16 in drayton valley and 17 and 16 degrees and rocky mount house and around edmonton, look for the temperatures at 17 degrees for today with mostly or partly cloudy skies throughout the day and a bit of increase throughout the day late in the afternoon turning into a chance showers this evening. Fort saskatchewan and broadwater lookout, 17 and strathcona county and back to beaumont and the duke and 80 degrees also in what task one. A pretty nice day in 19 the normal high we are pretty close to that at 17 degrees and a bit closer than that tomorrow and then above that into the first part of the week eastwards at 20 km/hour for us in this afternoon over there showers is in there as well in early part of the evening and becoming light as we get into the darker side of the night and 9 degrees for the overnight low and tomorrow, there's about a 30 percent chance of seeing some showers were isolated thunderstorms and that will be later in the day tomorrow anything degrees for tomorrow's high and some west wind picking up at around 20 km/hour. The long-range forecast with here comes the sun on monday, 22 degrees with a low of one and 25 degrees on tuesday with the low of time and for wednesday, 19 degrees with the low of 13 and 18 on thursday and friday in 19 degrees expected for the high next saturday.
