We'll show you how the city and team are getting ready. >> Ciara: it's beautiful for game three. The fog finally lifting. This makes this guy looks so blue. Expect for the next few days. Tracie, how is the morning commute? >> Tracie: we have had fog and we will take a look at gas prices. They have gone up from last week. It is game day. Game three back on home ice tonight. >> Vinesh: the oilers and stars tied at one game apiece. Kendra slugoski joins us live from ice district plaza this morning. >> Erin: kendra, the oilers fell behind in saturday's game, but it's something off-ice in dallas that is getting a lot of attention from oilers fans? >> Kendra:, good morning. We all know that when the oilers when we play as song and it also honours the late ben seltzer. On saturday they played this song which trolled the oilers which led to a title wave of criticism from the oiler fans. Witt dj later apologized and said he did not know the significance of this song to the oilers franchise and of course to the sands. So in turn they thanked him for owning up and for the apology and also for his donation to the ben seltzer fund. Now perhaps this will give the oilers even more fuel as they are back on the ice tonight. The series is split the oilers have not been able to capitalize on their deadly power play and that's because dallas has only been in the box twice in the series and one of them was for too many men on the ice. Now many have been asked about the calls or lack thereof. And trying to be very careful about what they say the coach calling it unfortunate for his team since the oilers have a dominant power play. So games three and 4 back here on home ice. We knew that this would be a tight series in the oilers have a chance to pull ahead tonight. >> Speaker: going into the third you know it will be a greasy goal, if you will. But they obviously have playoff. But we need to capitalize towards the end. >> Kendra: at game it will start at 630 and we know that fan parks are going to be busy it has been really great to see all of the fans coming down to support the team. Also hoping we get to play that song tonight for a ban as it is his birthday. >> Erin: very sitting in do thank you, kendra. Our city's downtown is busy during game day particularly can park and from ice rinks to roadways and ice district plaza but others are looking a little bit more like a ghost town. From ice rinks to roadways and entertainment facilities. Once the puck drops, they are all pretty much empty. As edmontonians focus their attention on the game. Activate is a physical and mental gaming facility. It usually has people lining up outside, but not come game time. >> Michael makar: it has been slower. It is not dead but there is definitely a decline. We have fun with the people who do come in. We'll get them excited >> Erin: game time is tonight for our games so it generates a very positive environment for those that are here. >> Erin: game time is tonight 6:30pm. You can listen live on 630 ched and we'll have post game coverage on global news at 11.

Right now we have made our way over to the yellow head 1506 street. We took a look at 107 avenue and 205 street. Fire crews had a vehicle on fire earlier in the morning but it looks like it has been free and clear it's up or trucks that are making their way through there, just a bit of volume near winter burin road. Other than that 1506 street we have a bit of volume working its way near this construction across the yellow head both east and west bound as crews have the right lane closed you will need to stay over to the centre left and for those making the ranks before the exit ramp we do have a stalled semi just to the right side here.
