She managed to escape last month. She was seen earlier this month in the same area. The orca's extended family has now been spotted about a hundred kilometres away but brave little hunter was not with them. A marine expert says the orca's likely on the move looking for her family. Will be such a beautiful moment and we continue to cheer on brave little hunter. Here's a look outside. We have ominous-looking clouds over calgary, 8° right now. A break from the rain. Expecting scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm throughout this afternoon. If we see a thunderstorm it is expected to be weak. Temperatures between 6 and 9° across calgary right now. You can see currently where the cooler temperatures are to the west. It's also where we're seeing snow. Temperatures otherwise 9° in edmonton, 13 drumheller-brooks, 11 in lethbridge. Daytime highs today not much warmer than what we're seeing now, temperatures between 8 and 14°. Warmest temperatures will be up north, especially along that northern border. 19 in high level. It's good to see they've had some moisture. That fire danger risk has gone down. It is still quite dry in northern alberta. They need more rain. We are seeing it in central and southern alberta. You can see scattered showers south of fort mac and grande prairie area. They need more than that. To the west of us there is some snow falling. I take a look at the banff camera. In the town site more of a rain-snow mix. Higher elevations snow. Highway 40 through nordegg they could see a good amount of snow. Scattered showers today, possible thunderstorms for central and southern alberta. Tomorrow of the same. 12° in red deer tomorrow, 14 in medicine hat, 13 in lethbridge, 11 in banff. Here in calgary daytime high of 12°, chance of thunderstorms. Friday small chance of thunderstorms, 16°, friday not a bad day, scattered showers and thunderstorms on saturday, high 14. If we see any rain sunday it will be in the early morning hours, otherwise partly cloudy, 17. Monday and tuesday we jump up into the 20s. I'll give a quick look at this ten-day temperature trend. We'll kick off next week into the 20s and stay in the high teens as we finish the work week and the month of may. The leger survey found 70% of canadians said that they were aware of the boycott, 58% support it, but just 18% said they or someone in their household are taking part. For those boycotting loblaws 40% are going to big box office stores like walmart. 31% to another national chain like save-on foods. 23% are shopping at independent local stores. >>> Take a look at the markets for you now. In return each will volunteer for 30 hours a month. >> What's currently popular is virtual reality, gaming, bollywood, latin dance, fitness, fashion shows, cooking, baking classes. So it's bringing the different generations together over common interest. Fun. >> In other countries they've been doing this for many years. The netherlands, france, even the U.S. has been doing this since 2010. >> Reporter: a 25,000-dollar grant from the federal government is helping this happen. It's hoped the idea can catch on across the country. Doug vaessen, global news. >> Bindu: a calgary home builder is touting a unique design that could help provide some relief toward canada's affordable housing crisis. Seed homes has created a unique modular home for about a third of the cost of a traditional house. The company is sending six units to nunavut to help ease a housing crunch in the far north. The company's ceo says that they can easily be shipped anywhere in the world. >> These homes actually fold into something that's only 10 feet wide so we can drop them on the back of a truck, we can put them on a train, we can put them on a boat. Going to nunavut they're going on a barge and ship these no oversized loads. That's the biggest problem with modular design today is it's all oversized loads. >> Bindu: morgan says the homes are built to withstand harsh winter conditions of northern canada. The company's homes range in size from 400 to 1200 square
