Lethbridge police responded with fish and wildlife officers but were unable to locate the animal. Argument jason francois of fish and wildlife enforcement services says people should be prepared if they come across a cougar. >> If you do see a cougar, we recommend that you do not run or turn your back. If the cougar appears to be unaware of your presence, gather any small children you may have. Keep your pets close. You can't see it. >> Reporter: it's not yet confirmed what exactly caused turbulence for the singapore airlines flight. But some passengers say it made the plane drop dramatically, and that's why air safety experts say it's important to take safety precautions even if it seems simple. >> The best way for the turbulence is have your seat belt done up tight. >> Reporter: and they have seen 6 related incidents, and 9 of which involved serious cases. On one flight, many passengers were not wearing seat belts, and some analysts say after tuesday's incidents and cape bretonairlinessay they need. >> They say keep your seat belt mandatory while seated.
