ALL:Let's see your voice! >> Tiffany: well, I guess I decided to match the sky today. Because look at that, you can see blue and white with a mix of sun and cloud. 16° right now. Temperatures expected to warm up into the 20s today. In and around calgary, temperatures already between 16 and 18°. Taking a look up at red deer this noon hour, 17°. 12 in banff. 18 in lethbridge as well as medicine hat. Daytime highs today, if you're heading west and into the rockies, as cool as 14° in banff. The rest of us will be between 20 and 22° this afternoon. So enjoying these warmer temperatures. They stretch up north as well. 20 in high level, 22 in fort mcmurray. Now, that's really drying out any bit of soil moisture that they've had over the past few days, so we continue to watch this situation up there. They are expecting some moisture in northern B.C. and northern alberta. We want the rain, we don't want the lightning. Possible showers and thunderstorms throughout today for both northern B.C. and northern alberta. Possible lightning strikes could mean possible wildfires being ignited once again. So watching that. Otherwise for central and southern alberta, things fairly calm. Fairly stable, and we're expecting mostly sunny skies throughout this afternoon. Tomorrow gets even warmer. 24 in red deer tomorrow. 28 in medicine hat. 27 in lethbridge. And then 16 tomorrow in banff. Here in calgary we get to enjoy a high of 23 with mostly cloudy skies tomorrow. 17 on wednesday thanks to some scattered showers rolling through. That's what's going to push us down into the teens. Thursday, overcast, a little bit of rain here and there. A high of 15°. On friday, finishing off the workweek and finishing off the month of may at 17°. We see a little bit more sunshine friday. As we get into the weekend, 20° on saturday, 21 on sunday. Looking at the ten-day trend, june is starting out quite warm with temperatures into the 20s. So looking forward to that, but we do have a little extra rain midweek this week first. >> Joel: thanks, tiff. And I appreciate the rain obviously. I just don't appreciate it when it's 5° outside and I'm standing outside on the track. Last week for both of our practices, we got poured on. >> Leslie: and just to review, they're sprinters. >> Joel: we don't like it. >> Leslie: they're very fragile. There can't be rain or wind.

>> Joel: areodynamic. We need the rain, just have the rain come with 20° temperatures. >> Leslie: on nonpractice nights. >> Bindu: or run with them, joel. >> Leslie: he's done his time, is what I'm hearing from over there. Here's a little entertainment. >> Give me this promise. >> Leslie: furiosa and the garfield movie failed to attract movie goers this weekend. Both films are tied for the number one spot and expected to earn an estimated $31 million through monday. >>> This was the inspiration for tiff's shirt today. Right? John "saturday night fever"'s blue shirt is one of the items up for auction. The discodance floor is expected to sell for $300,000. So fun, though! >> Arguably one of the most famous houses in the world. >> The "home alone" house. >> Leslie: and here's a question, would you like to live in kevin mccallister's house? Well, now you can. The home has hit the market for the first time in 12 years. More than $7 million canadian is the cost. The house itself is 30 minutes north of chicago. According to the listing agents, it is a piece of american history. So is the dico dance floor, which you could buy and then put in the home alone house. >> Joel: where do you put the dance floor, though? >> Leslie: downstairs on the basketball court. >> Bindu: 7 million canadian for that? >> Leslie: depending on where you live, it's cheap! Cool thing is, we might have some different technology and skills that can help. Your second chance starts with a phone call LeadingEdgePhysio.com >> Bindu: as millions of north americans prepare for summer vacations, the way travellers pass through some airports is changing. Biometrics can make the security process quicker, but what does it mean for privacy? Here's more from los angeles where flyers are already coming face-to-face with this new technology. >> Reporter: before heading to new york, maggie experienced what could be the future of flying. Using her face to check her bag >> I think it works pretty well. >> Reporter: and throughout terminal 7 at lax, many travellers are finding their face is increasingly their ticket to fly. Delta and united are now testing biometric bag check systems. At united, it checks a person's face against their passport photo, which that passenger stored in the airline's app. The airline says the images are not retained. David terry oversees lax for united airlines >> We're clearing within 15 to 20 seconds. >> Do I have to do this? >> This is completely optional. >> Reporter: there are a growing number of facial recognition lines, aimed at cutting down time spent in line. Tsa administrator stresses the programs are opt-in. >> It's the future because it's so much more effective than a manual comparison. This is better for security and efficiency >> But not everyone is a fan. A push in congress to restrict the use of biometrics failed this month. Privacy advocates remain concerned. >> The use of that sort of information needs to come with really robust protections. And that's really crucial when you're talking about your facial imprint. Unlike a social security network or a telephone number, you can't get a new face. >> Reporter: what do you say to the critics? >> We put privacy first. We don't retain the data that you provide for more than a few seconds. We have no plans to surveil, and the technology is not capable of surveillance. >> Reporter: a debate over the future of travel facing flyers more than ever. Cbs news, los angeles. >> Joel: all right, what better way to start off your monday than an adorable adoptable. We have the calgary humane society here, and who do we have today? >> This is scotty. He's 2 years old, and we think he might be a great dane mix or something, but it's kind of hard to say. He looks like a little bit of a mutt. >> Joel: I feel like he's enjoying this spa treatment here. >> It's so funny because his profile says that he's a little bit shy when you first meet him. But all day he's been running up to people to say hello. >> Joel: what would be a perfect home for scotty? >> I think he would do best in an active home. Maybe a training class or two. I think he would benefit from a family who will take him on lots of walks, maybe some hikes. And I think he would benefit with a family who likes to cuddle. I think he thinks he's a lapdog. >> Joel: you talk about walks, you have a big event coming up this weekend. It's all about walking the dog. >> Yeah! We have our dog jog on saturday. It's our walk or jog to end animal cruelty. It's one of our biggest events of the year, and it's just a casual 5 k walk or jog. I think most people come for the beer after that and the post-walk festivities. There's going to be food trucks and we'll have some pet vendors there. >> Joel: is this something you need to register for, or do you
