Christophe Galtier among managers offered to West Ham United
According to an exclusive report by French outlet Foot Mercato, a number of managers were offered to West Ham United who are experiencing a poor run of form under current head coach Julen Lopetegui.
West Ham spent €145 million in the summer transfer window to bolster their squad but currently sit 14th in the Premier League and have lost three out of their last five games. Concerns have been raised following their last two games where the club have conceded eight goals (five to Arsenal and three to Leicester).
Foot Mercato understands that West Ham have made contact with Sérgio Conceição who has also been (somewhat surprisingly) linked to a reunion with FC Nantes. However, the services of Christophe Galtier, Maurizio Sarri, and Massimiliano Allegri have also been offered to the English club.
Sarri and Allegri are both out of contract, while Galtier who most recently managed Paris Saint-Germain in Europe is currently in charge of Qatari side Al-Duhail. The French outlet writes that the club are open to all three names, but the owners would prefer an Englishman while the sports director Tim Steidten would like a German compatriot.
