Chris Smalling reassures Roma fans of his condition

Chris Smalling has put an end to the latest whispers of his unstable fitness levels.

The English defender was recently excluded from Roma’s friendly with Kosice due to muscle soreness but eventually made himself available for the subsequent match with Toulouse in which he hit the post.

It was last Saturday, during the friendly match against Toulouse, that Smalling landed badly after a clash with an opponent and many thought the worst.

Today, however, the Englishman published a photo on Twitter showing him wearing his training shirt, complete with an emoji indicating a full battery, as if to indicate that he is 100% fit.
