Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook among NBA stars showing support for WNBA
Before the WNBA tipped off its 25th season, NBA players showed support for their counterparts.
The Phoenix Suns' Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton kicked things off on Thursday night, sporting jerseys of the Phoenix Mercury's Diana Taurasi and Skylar Diggins-Smith before their prime-time win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

I freaking love this:
Both the Pistons and Nuggets coaching staffs are wearing @WNBA 25th anniversary polos in tonight’s game as the WNBA kicks off their season tonight.
I’m not sure if every team in the @NBA is doing this but I hope they are!— Katy Winge (@katywinge) May 15, 2021

New York Jets pick WNBA team to support?
The New York Jets seemed to accidentally pick a WNBA team when their Twitter profile hashtag #TakeFlight was converted into the official hashtag for the Dallas Wings.
Of course, the Wings poked fun at mixup, especially since the Jets probably should be supporting the home-state New York Liberty. The Jets quickly amended their profile, and doubled down on their Liberty commitment.
