Chris Kreider Lands On Inured Reserve With Reported Back Problems Being An Issue
The York Rangers have placed Chris Kreider on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.
This comes after he missed Sunday afternoon’s game against the Chicago Blackhawks and was just listed as day-to-day.
Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reported the belief for weeks has been that Kreider’s back has been an ongoing issue.
FWIW- Belief for weeks has been that Kreider’s back has been an ongoing issue. The move to IR supports those claims — and may help explain the down season he’s having. https://t.co/R1Qhf2k2ka

That is likely the root issue of this apparent upper-body injury. Kreider will miss at least the next three games by rule of being placed on injured reserve.
The 33-year-old forward has recorded 13 goals, two assists and 15 points while averaging 17:37 minutes.
