CHL TV showing 11 OHL games free of charge this preseason

Getting into CHL hockey has never been easier. This offseason CHL TV will air 30 CHL games free of charge on their website.

While the OHL and WHL have not yet started their preseason games, the QMJHL preseason is already well underway. The first two free QMJHL games were aired on CHLTV last night. The Baie-Comeau Drakkar played the Chicoutimi Saguenéens while the Gatineau Olympiques took on the Val-d'Or Foreurs.

CHL TV will air three OHL games free of charge on Sept, 6. The newly anointed Brampton Steelheads will travel to Kitchener to take on the Kitchener Rangers. Meanwhile, the Brantford Bulldogs play host to the Niagara IceDogs and the Guelph Storm will welcome the Peterborough Petes.

The next night, two more games will be free to watch on CHL TV. Brampton will once again be featured, this time hosting the Barrie Colts. The second free game of the evening includes the Oshawa Generals heading down to Guelph to face the Storm.

The final six games will take place between Sept, 18 and Sept, 22. On the 18th, the Owen Sound Attack face off against the Barrie Colts. The next night, the Barrie Colts will play Brampton in the second half of a back-to-back. On the 20th Sarnia will play against the London Knights who are the reigning OHL Champions. The 21st features a game between the Kitchener Rangers and Sarnia Sting.

The final two games both take place on Sept, 22nd. The North Bay Battalion takes on the Owen Sound Attack while the Soo Greyhounds travel to Saginaw to face the reigning Memorial Cup champions.

Fans who want to watch the CHL in their own homes can purchase the CHL All-Access Pass for $274.99 at CHL TV's website. The pass gives access to all CHL regular season and playoff games. Users can also choose to purchase access to just the regular season or the playoffs depending on their interests.
